Exodus 17 Water from the Rock and Victory Through Prayer

อพยพบทที่ 17  น้ำไหลออกจากศิลาและมีชัยชนะโดยการอธิษฐาน

We find the people of Israel again had a water problem, no water to drink. 

เราพบว่าชนชาติอิสราเอลมีปัญหาน้ำอีกครั้ง   ไม่มีน้ำที่จะดื่ม

We will read today about how the Lord supplied their need. 

วันนี้เราจะอ่านเรื่องวิธีที่พระเจ้าทรงประทานให้ตามความต้องการของพวกเขา

Water from the Rock verses 1-7

น้ำไหลออกจากศิลา ข้อ 1-7

1All the congregation of the people of Israel moved on from the wilderness of Sin by stages, according to the commandment of the LORD, and camped at Rephidim, but there was no water for the people to drink.

1ชุมนุมชนชาติอิสราเอลทั้งหมด   ยกออกจากถิ่นทุรกันดารสีน  ไปเป็นระยะๆ  ตามพระบัญชาของพระเจ้า และมาตั้งค่ายที่เรฟีดิม  ที่นั่นไม่มีน้ำให้ประชาชนดื่ม

2Therefore the people quarreled with Moses and said, “Give us water to drink.” And Moses said to them, “Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you test the LORD?”

2เหตุฉะนั้นประชาชนจึงกล่าวหาว่าเป็นความผิดของโมเสส   และกล่าวกับโมเสสว่า   “ให้น้ำพวกข้าดื่มซิ”   โมเสสจึงบอกเขาว่า   “พวกเจ้าหาเรื่องเราทำไม   เหตุไฉนพวกเจ้าจึงบังอาจลองดีกับพระเจ้า”

3But the people thirsted there for water, and the people grumbled against Moses and said, “Why did you bring us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our livestock with thirst?”

3ประชาชนกระหายน้ำที่ตำบลนั้น จึงบ่นต่อโมเสสว่า   “ทำไมท่านจึงพาพวกข้าทั้งบุตรและฝูงสัตว์ของข้าออกมา จากประเทศอียิปต์ให้อดน้ำตาย”

4So Moses cried to the LORD, “What shall I do with this people? They are almost ready to stone me.”

4โมเสสจึงร้องทูลพระเจ้าว่า “ข้าพระองค์จะทำอย่างไรกับชนชาตินี้ดี   เขาเกือบจะเอาหินขว้างข้าพระองค์ให้ตายอยู่แล้ว”  

5And the LORD said to Moses, “Pass on before the people, taking with you some of the elders of Israel, and take in your hand the staff with which you struck the Nile, and go.

5พระเจ้าจึงตรัสกับโมเสสว่า “จงเดินล่วงหน้าประชาชนไป   และนำพวกผู้ใหญ่บางคนของอิสราเอลไปด้วย   ให้ถือไม้เท้าที่เจ้าใช้ตีแม่น้ำไนล์นั้นไปด้วย

6Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock at Horeb, and you shall strike the rock, and water shall come out of it, and the people will drink.” And Moses did so, in the sight of the elders of Israel.

6เราจะยืนอยู่ต่อหน้าเจ้าที่นั่น   บนศิลาที่ภูเขาโฮเรบ จงตีศิลานั้น   แล้วน้ำจะไหลออกมาให้ประชาชนดื่ม” โมเสสก็ทำดังนั้นต่อหน้าพวกผู้ใหญ่ของอิสราเอล

7And he called the name of the place Massah and Meribah, because of the quarreling of the people of Israel, and because they tested the LORD by saying, “Is the LORD among us or not?”

7โมเสสเรียกชื่อตำบลนั้นว่า มัสสาห์และเมรีบาห์ด้วยเหตุว่า   คนอิสราเอลกล่าวหาตน ณ ที่นั้น   และลองดีกับพระเจ้าว่า “พระเจ้าทรงสถิตอยู่ท่ามกลางพวกข้าพเจ้าจริงหรือ”

The Lord Jesus can be compared to the Rock and also the Water, for He is the Water of Life. 

พระเยซูทรงเปรียบดังพระศิลาและยังทรงเป็นน้ำด้วย เพราะพระองค์ทรงเป็นน้ำแห่งชีวิต

John ยอห์น 4:4-30 4And He had to pass through Samaria.

4พระองค์จำต้องเสด็จผ่านแคว้นสะมาเรีย

5So He came to a town of Samaria called Sychar, near the field that Jacob had given to his son Joseph.

5พระองค์จึงเสด็จไปถึงเมืองหนึ่ง   ชื่อสิคาร์ในแคว้นสะมาเรีย   ใกล้ที่ดินซึ่งยาโคบให้แก่โยเซฟบุตรของตน

6Jacob's well was there; so Jesus, wearied as he was from his journey, was sitting beside the well. It was about the sixth hour.

6บ่อน้ำของยาโคบอยู่ที่นั่น   พระเยซูทรงดำเนินทางมาเหน็ดเหนื่อย   จึงประทับลงที่ข้างบ่อนั้น   เป็นเวลาประมาณเที่ยง  

7There came a woman of Samaria to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give me a drink.”

7มีหญิงชาวสะมาเรียคนหนึ่งมาตักน้ำ   พระเยซูตรัสกับนางว่า “ขอน้ำให้เราดื่มบ้าง”

8(For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.)

8ขณะนั้นสาวกของพระองค์เข้าไปซื้ออาหารในเมือง

9The Samaritan woman said to Him, “How is it that you, a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a woman of Samaria?” (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.)

9หญิงชาวสะมาเรียทูลพระองค์ว่า “ไฉนท่านผู้เป็นยิวจึงขอน้ำดื่มจากดิฉัน   ผู้เป็นหญิงชาวสะมาเรีย” (เพราะพวกยิวไม่คบหาชาวสะมาเรียเลย)

10Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, ‘Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.”

10พระเยซูตรัสตอบนางว่า “ถ้าเจ้าได้รู้จักของที่พระเจ้าประทาน   และรู้จักผู้ที่พูดกับเจ้าว่า   'ขอน้ำให้เราดื่มบ้าง'   เจ้าก็คงจะได้ขอจากท่านผู้นั้น   และท่านผู้นั้นก็คงจะให้น้ำธำรงชีวิตแก่เจ้า”

11The woman said to him, “Sir, you have nothing to draw water with, and the well is deep. Where do you get that living water?

11นางทูลพระองค์ว่า “ท่านเจ้าคะ  ท่านไม่มีถังตัก   และบ่อนี้ก็ลึก  ท่านจะได้น้ำธำรงชีวิตนั้นมาจากไหน

12Are you greater than our father Jacob? He gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did his sons and his livestock.”

12ท่านเป็นใหญ่กว่ายาโคบบรรพบุรุษของเรา   ผู้ได้ให้บ่อน้ำนี้แก่เราหรือ   และยาโคบเองก็ได้ดื่มจากบ่อนี้รวมทั้งบุตรและฝูงสัตว์ของท่านด้วย”

13Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again,

13พระเยซูตรัสตอบว่า “ทุกคนที่ดื่มน้ำนี้จะกระหายอีก

14but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty forever. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

14แต่ผู้ที่ดื่มน้ำซึ่งเราจะให้แก่เขานั้น   จะไม่กระหายอีกเลย   น้ำซึ่งเราจะให้เขานั้น   จะบังเกิดเป็นบ่อน้ำพุในตัวเขาพลุ่งขึ้นถึงชีวิตนิรันดร์”

15The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water, so that I will not be thirsty or have to come here to draw water.”

15นางทูลพระองค์ว่า “ท่านเจ้าคะ   ขอน้ำนั้นให้ดิฉันเถิด   เพื่อดิฉันจะได้ไม่กระหายอีก   และจะได้ไม่ต้องมาตักที่นี่”  

16Jesus said to her, “Go, call your husband, and come here.”

16พระเยซูตรัสกับนางว่า “ไปเรียกผัวของเจ้ามานี่เถิด”

17The woman answered him, “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “You are right in saying, ‘I have no husband’;

17นางทูลพระองค์ว่า “ดิฉันไม่มีผัวค่ะ” พระเยซูตรัสกับนางว่า   “เจ้าพูดถูกแล้วว่าผัวไม่มี

18for you have had five husbands, and the one you now have is not your husband. What you have said is true.”

18เพราะเจ้าได้มีผัวห้าคนแล้ว   และคนที่เจ้ามีอยู่เดี๋ยวนี้ก็ไม่ใช่ผัวของเจ้า   เรื่องนี้เจ้าพูดจริง”

19The woman said to him, “Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet.

19นางทูลพระองค์ว่า “ท่านเจ้าคะ   ดิฉันเห็นจริงแล้วว่าท่านเป็นผู้เผยพระวจนะ

20Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, but you say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship.”

20บรรพบุรุษของพวกเรานมัสการที่ภูเขานี้   แต่พวกท่านว่าตำบลที่ควรนมัสการนั้น   คือเยรูซาเล็ม”

21Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father.

21พระเยซูตรัสกับนางว่า “หญิงเอ๋ย   เชื่อเราเถิด   คงมีวันหนึ่งที่พวกเจ้าจะมิได้ไหว้นมัสการพระบิดา   เฉพาะที่ภูเขานี้หรือที่เยรูซาเล็ม

22You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews.

22ซึ่งเจ้านมัสการนั้นเจ้าไม่รู้จัก   ซึ่งพวกเรานมัสการเรารู้จัก   เพราะความรอดนั้นมาจากพวกยิว

23But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.

23แต่วาระนั้นใกล้เข้ามาแล้ว   และบัดนี้ก็ถึงแล้ว   คือเมื่อผู้ที่นมัสการอย่างถูกต้องจะนมัสการพระบิดา   ด้วยจิตวิญญาณและความจริง   เพราะว่าพระบิดาทรงแสวงหาคนเช่นนั้นนมัสการพระองค์

24God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

24พระเจ้าทรงเป็นพระวิญญาณ   และผู้ที่นมัสการพระองค์   ต้องนมัสการด้วยจิตวิญญาณและความจริง”

25The woman said to him, “I know that Messiah is coming (he who is called Christ). When he comes, he will tell us all things.”

25นางทูลพระองค์ว่า “ดิฉันทราบว่าพระเมสสิยาห์   (ที่เรียกว่าพระคริสต์)   จะเสด็จมา   เมื่อพระองค์เสด็จมา   พระองค์จะทรงชี้แจงทุกสิ่งแก่เรา”

26Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am he.”

26พระเยซูตรัสกับนางว่า “เราที่พูดกับเจ้าคือท่านผู้นั้น”  

27Just then his disciples came back. They marveled that he was talking with a woman, but no one said, “What do you seek?” or, “Why are you talking with her?”

27ขณะนั้นสาวกของพระองค์ก็มาถึง   เขาประหลาดใจที่พระองค์ทรงสนทนากับผู้หญิง   แต่ไม่มีใครถามว่า “พระองค์ทรงประสงค์อะไร” หรือ   “ทำไมพระองค์จึงทรงสนทนากับนาง”

28So the woman left her water jar and went away into town and said to the people,

28หญิงนั้นจึงทิ้งหม้อน้ำไว้และเข้าไปในเมืองบอกคนทั้งปวงว่า

29“Come, see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the Christ?”

29“มาเถิด   มาดูท่านผู้หนึ่งที่เล่าถึงสิ่งสารพัดซึ่งฉันได้กระทำ   ท่านผู้นี้จะเป็นพระคริสต์ได้ไหม”

30They went out of the town and were coming to him.

30คนทั้งหลายจึงพากันออกจากเมืองไปหาพระองค์ 

The Rock to provide their water was Jesus Christ according to I Corinthians 10:1-13

ศิลาที่ให้น้ำแก่พวกเขาคือพระเยซูคริสต์  ดังที่กล่าวในพระธรรม 1โครินธ์10:1-13

1I want you to know, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea,

1ดูก่อนพี่น้องทั้งหลาย   ข้าพเจ้าอยากให้ท่านทั้งหลายเข้าใจว่า   บรรพบุรุษของเราทั้งสิ้นได้อยู่ใต้เมฆ   และได้ผ่านทะเลไปทุกคน

2and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea,

2ได้รับบัพติศมาในเมฆและในทะเลเข้าสนิทกับโมเสสทุกคน

3and all ate the same spiritual food,

3และได้รับประทานอาหารทิพย์ทุกคน

4and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from the spiritual Rock that followed them, and the Rock was Christ.

4และได้ดื่มน้ำทิพย์ทุกคน   เพราะว่าเขาได้ดื่มน้ำซึ่งไหลออกมาจากพระศิลาที่ติดตามเขามา   พระศิลานั้นคือพระคริสต์

5Nevertheless, with most of them God was not pleased, for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

5แต่ถึงกระนั้นก็ดีมีคนส่วนมากในพวกนั้นที่พระเจ้าไม่ทรงพอพระทัย   เราทราบได้   ก็เพราะว่าเขาล้มตายกันเกลื่อนกลาดในถิ่นทุรกันดาร  

6Now these things took place as examples for us, that we might not desire evil as they did.

6เหตุการณ์เหล่านี้เป็นเครื่องเตือนใจพวกเรา   ไม่ให้เรามีใจโลภปรารถนาสิ่งที่ชั่วเหมือนเขาเหล่านั้น

7Do not be idolaters as some of them were; as it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink and rose up to play.”

7ท่านทั้งหลายอย่านับถือรูปเคารพเหมือนอย่างที่บางคนในพวกเขาได้กระทำ   ตามที่มีเขียนไว้ในพระคัมภีร์ว่า   ประชาชนก็นั่งลงกินและดื่ม แล้วก็ลุกขึ้นเล่นสนุกสนาน

8We must not indulge in sexual immorality as some of them did, and twenty-three thousand fell in a single day.

8อย่าให้เราคบหญิงชั่วเหมือนอย่างที่บางคนในพวกเขาได้กระทำ   แล้วก็ล้มลงตายในวันเดียวสองหมื่นสามพันคน

9We must not put Christ to the test, as some of them did and were destroyed by serpents,

9อย่าให้เราลองดีองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า   เหมือนอย่างที่บางคนในพวกเขาได้กระทำ   แล้วก็ต้องตายด้วยงูร้าย

10nor grumble, as some of them did and were destroyed by the Destroyer.

11Now these things happened to them as an example, but they were written down for our instruction, on whom the end of the ages has come.

12Therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall.

12เหตุฉะนั้นคนที่คิดว่าตัวเองมั่นคงดีแล้ว   ก็จงระวังให้ดี   กลัวว่าจะล้มลง

13No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

13ไม่มีการทดลองใดๆเกิดขึ้นกับท่าน   นอกเหนือจากการทดลองซึ่งเคยเกิดกับมนุษย์ทั้งหลาย   พระเจ้าทรงสัตย์ธรรม   พระองค์จะไม่ทรงให้ท่านต้องถูกทดลองเกินกว่าที่ท่านจะทนได้   และเมื่อท่านถูกทดลองนั้น   พระองค์จะทรงโปรดให้ท่านมีทางที่จะหลีกเลี่ยงได้ด้วย   เพื่อท่านจะมีกำลังทนได้  

This Rock reminds me of Psalms 61:1-4, especially verse 2

ศิลานี้เตือนให้ผมนึกถึงเพลงสดุดี 61: 1-4 โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง ข้อ 2

1Hear my cry, O God, listen to my prayer;

1 ถึงหัวหน้านักร้อง ใช้เครื่องสาย ของดาวิด   ข้าแต่พระเจ้า ขอทรงฟังเสียงร้องของข้าพระองค์   ขอทรงสดับคำอธิษฐานของข้าพระองค์  

2from the end of the earth I call to you when my heart is faint.  Lead me to the rock

that is higher than I,

2ข้าพระองค์ร้องทูลพระองค์มาแต่ที่สุดปลายแผ่นดินโลก   เมื่อจิตใจของข้าพระองค์อ่อนระอาไป   ขอทรงนำข้าพระองค์มาถึงศิลาที่สูงกว่าข้าพระองค์  

3for you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the enemy.

3เพราะพระองค์ทรงเป็นที่ลี้ภัยของข้าพระองค์   เป็นหอคอยเข้มแข็งที่ประจันหน้าศัตรู  

4Let me dwell in your tent forever!  Let me take refuge under the shelter of your wings! Selah

4ข้าพระองค์จะขออยู่ในพลับพลาของพระองค์เป็นนิตย์   ขอให้ปลอดภัยอยู่ที่กำบังปีกของพระองค์  

Psalms เพลงสดุดี 78:35 They remembered that God was their rock, the Most High God their redeemer.

เขาระลึกว่าพระเจ้าทรงเป็นพระศิลาของเขา   และพระเจ้าองค์สูงสุดเป็นพระผู้ไถ่ของเขา  

Moses was told by God to strike the Rock and it would bring forth water. 

พระเจ้าตรัสบอกโมเสสให้ตีที่ศิลานั้นและน้ำจะไหลออกมา

Just like Jesus was smitten or pierced for our sins, once and only once He was crucified for us to pay for our sins. 

เช่นเดียวกับพระเยซูที่ทรงถูกทุบตีหรือทิ่มแทงเพราะบาปของเรา  ครั้งเดียวและเพียงครั้งเดียวเท่านั้น   ทรงถูกตรึงกางเขนเพื่อทรงชดใช้บาปแทนเรา

There will come another time when Israel has a water problem and this time, God says to Moses to speak to the Rock and it will give you water, but Moses was angry and struck the rock and yelled at the people and because of this Moses was not allowed to enter the promised land. 

จะถึงเวลาหนึ่งเมื่ออิสราเอลมีปัญหาน้ำและในครั้งนี้    พระเจ้าตรัสกับโมเสสให้พูดกับศิลาและน้ำจะไหลออกมา   แต่โมเสสโกรธและตีที่ศิลา  และดุประชาชน   และเนื่องจากโมเสสกระทำเช่นนี้  ท่านจึงไม่ได้รับอนุญาตให้เข้าไปยังดินแดนแห่งพันธสัญญา

Israel Defeats Amalek verses 8-16

อิสราเอลรบชนะคนอามาเลข  ข้อ 8-16

8Then Amalek came and fought with Israel at Rephidim.

8ครั้งนั้น   คนอามาเลขยกมารบกับคนอิสราเอลที่ตำบลเรฟีดิม

9So Moses said to Joshua, “Choose for us men, and go out and fight with Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the staff of God in my hand.”

9โมเสสสั่งโยชูวาว่า “จงเลือกชายฉกรรจ์ฝ่ายเราออกไปสู้รบกับพวกอามาเลข   พรุ่งนี้เราจะยืนถือไม้เท้าของพระเจ้าอยู่บนยอดภูเขา”

10So Joshua did as Moses told him, and fought with Amalek, while Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.

10โยชูวาก็ทำตามคำสั่งของโมเสส   ออกสู้รบกับพวกอามาเลข   ส่วนโมเสส   อาโรน และเฮอร์ก็ขึ้นไปบนยอดภูเขานั้น

11Whenever Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed, and whenever he lowered his hand, Amalek prevailed.

11โมเสสยกมือขึ้นเมื่อไร อิสราเอลก็ได้เปรียบเมื่อนั้น   ท่านลดมือลงเมื่อไร พวกอามาเลขก็เป็นต่อเมื่อนั้น

12But Moses' hands grew weary, so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it, while Aaron and Hur held up his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side. So his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.

12แต่มือของโมเสสเมื่อยล้า   เขาทั้งสองก็นำก้อนหินมาวางไว้ให้โมเสสท่านนั่ง   อาโรนกับเฮอร์ก็ช่วยยกมือท่านขึ้นคนละข้าง   มือของท่านก็ชูอยู่จนตะวันตกดิน

13And Joshua overwhelmed Amalek and his people with the sword.

13ฝ่ายโยชูวาปราบอามาเลขกับประชาชนของ เขาพ่ายแพ้ไปด้วยคมดาบ  

14Then the LORD said to Moses, “Write this as a memorial in a book and recite it in the ears of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven.”

14พระเจ้าตรัสกับโมเสสว่า “จงเขียนข้อความต่อไปนี้ลงไว้ในหนังสือเพื่อเป็นที่ระลึก   ทั้งเล่าให้โยชูวาฟังคือว่าเราจะลบล้างชื่อชนชาติ อามาเลข   ไม่ให้ปรากฏในความทรงจำของประชาชนภายใต้ฟ้านี้ เลย”

15And Moses built an altar and called the name of it, The LORD is my banner,

15โมเสสจึงสร้างแท่นบูชาเรียกชื่อ ว่าเยโฮวาห์นิสสี

16saying, “A hand upon the throne of the LORD! The LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.” 

16กล่าวว่า “มือบนพระบัลลังก์ของพระเจ้า   พระองค์จะทรงกระทำสงคราม กับอามาเลขต่อไปทุกชั่วชาติพันธุ์”

Amalek was a descendant of Esau, and the Amalekites had become enemies of Israel.

คนอามาเลขเป็นลูกหลานของเอซาว   และคนอามาเลขได้กลายเป็นศัตรูของอิสราเอล

They continued to be Israel's enemies in the Old Testament times.

พวกเขายังคงเป็นศัตรูของอิสราเอลในสมัยพันธสัญญาเดิม

This is the first time the people of Israel were at war. 

ครั้งนี้เป็นครั้งแรกที่คนอิสราเอลอยู่ในภาวะสงคราม

The battle was not won by strength, skill, or by numbers, but by prayer. 

การสู้รบไม่ได้รับชัยชนะโดยกำลัง  ฝีมือหรือโดยจำนวนคน แต่โดยการอธิษฐาน

After Moses death, Joshua was the one to take Moses place, so at this time, Joshua was learning to be a leader and he was in charge of the army. 

หลังจากโมเสสสิ้นชีวิต  โยชูวาเป็นคนที่มาแทนที่โมเสส  ดังนั้นในเวลานี้โยชูวาได้เรียนรู้ที่จะเป็นผู้นำ   และท่านบังคับบัญชากองทัพ

God was the one who really was fighting for Israel and while Moses lifted his hands asking for God’s help, Joshua and his army was winning but as his hands grew tired the Amalekites would be winning. 

พระเจ้าเป็นพระผู้ทรงต่อสู้เพื่อคนอิสราเอล    และในขณะที่โมเสสได้ยกมือของท่านขอความช่วยเหลือจากพระเจ้า   โยชูวาและกองทัพของเขาก็จะได้รับชัยชนะ แต่เมื่อมือของท่านอ่อนล้าลงเมื่อไรคนอามาเลขจะเป็นผู้ชนะ
