Exodus 16 Are you satisfied with Jesus or are you complaining?

อพยพบทที่ 16 คุณพึงพอใจในพระเยซูหรือคุณกำลังบ่นต่อว่า

God made the bitter water sweet and then led them to a place of shade, of rest, and a place with plenty of water called Elim. 

พระเจ้าได้ทรงเปลี่ยนน้ำขมให้มีรสหวาน   แล้วทรงนำพวกเขาไปยังสถานที่ร่มเงาเพื่อพักผ่อน    และสถานที่มีน้ำอุดมสมบูรณ์ที่เรียกว่าเอลิม

But now after they left there, they complained again, this time about not enough food to eat. 

แต่ตอนนี้หลังจากที่พวกเขาออกจากที่นั่นไป    พวกเขาบ่นอีกครั้ง    คราวนี้เกี่ยวกับอาหารไม่เพียงพอจะกิน

These are the special people of God.  God’s chosen people.

They had seen the miracles of the plagues in Egypt, they had seen the parting of the Red Sea, they had seen the bitter water made sweet and yet they still didn’t trust God to supply.

We are the same way, aren’t we?

We are God’s children, because we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. 

เราเป็นบุตรของพระเจ้า   เพราะเราได้ต้อนรับพระเยซูคริสต์เป็นพระเจ้าและพระผู้ช่วยให้รอดของเรา

Each of us, has seen God to do some great things in our lives but yet we still sometimes doubt and we still sometimes complain. 

เราแต่ละคนได้เห็นพระเจ้าทรงกระทำบางสิ่งที่ยิ่งใหญ่ในชีวิตของเรา  แต่เรายังคงสงสัยในบางครั้งและบางครั้งเรายังคงบ่นต่อว่า

Bread from Heaven

อาหารจากสวรรค์

1They set out from Elim, and all the congregation of the people of Israel came to the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after they had departed from the land of Egypt.

1พวกเขายกไปจากเอลิม   และในวันที่สิบห้าเดือนที่สอง   นับตั้งแต่เวลายกออกจาก แผ่นดินอียิปต์   ชุมนุมชนชาติอิสราเอลทั้งหมดก็มาถึงถิ่นทุรกันดารสีน   ซึ่งอยู่ระหว่างตำบลเอลิมกับภูเขาซีนาย

2And the whole congregation of the people of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness,

2ชุมนุมชนชาติอิสราเอลทั้งปวงก็ พากันบ่นต่อโมเสสและอาโรนในถิ่นทุรกันดาร

3and the people of Israel said to them, “Would that we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the meat pots and ate bread to the full, for you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger.”

3คนอิสราเอลกล่าวแก่ท่านทั้งสองว่า “พวกข้าพเจ้าตายเสียด้วยพระหัตถ์ของ พระเจ้าตั้งแต่อยู่ในประเทศอียิปต์   ขณะเมื่อนั่งอยู่ใกล้หม้อเนื้อและ รับประทานอาหารอิ่มหนำจะดีกว่า   นี่ท่านกลับนำพวกข้าพเจ้าออกมาในถิ่นทุรกันดารอย่างนี้   เพื่อจะให้ชุมนุมชนทั้งหมดหิวตายเท่านั้น”  

4Then the LORD said to Moses, “Behold, I am about to rain bread from heaven for you, and the people shall go out and gather a day's portion every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in my law or not.

4แล้วพระเจ้าได้ตรัสกับโมเสสว่า “ดูเถิด   เราจะให้อาหารตกลงมาจาก ท้องฟ้าดุจฝนสำหรับพวกเจ้า   ให้ประชาชนออกไปเก็บทุกวัน   พอกินเฉพาะวันหนึ่งๆ   เพื่อเราจะได้ลองใจว่า   เขาจะปฏิบัติตามโอวาท ของเราหรือไม่

5On the sixth day, when they prepare what they bring in, it will be twice as much as they gather daily.”

5ในวันที่หก   เมื่อเขาเตรียมของที่เก็บมา   อาหารนั้นก็จะเพิ่มเป็นสองเท่าของที่เขาเก็บทุกวัน”  

6So Moses and Aaron said to all the people of Israel, “At evening you shall know that it was the LORD who brought you out of the land of Egypt,

6โมเสสกับอาโรนจึงบอกชนชาติอิสราเอลทั้งปวงว่า   “ในเวลาเย็นท่านทั้งหลายจะได้รู้ว่า   พระเจ้าเป็นผู้ทรงนำพวกท่านออกจากประเทศอียิปต์

7and in the morning you shall see the glory of the LORD, because he has heard your grumbling against the LORD. For what are we, that you grumble against us?”

7ในเวลาเช้าพวกท่านจะได้เห็นพระสิริแห่งพระเจ้า   เพราะคำบ่นต่อว่าของพวกท่านต่อพระเจ้าทราบถึงพระองค์แล้ว   เราทั้งสองเป็นผู้ใดเล่า   พวกท่านจึงมาบ่นต่อว่าเรา”  

8And Moses said, “When the LORD gives you in the evening meat to eat and in the morning bread to the full, because the LORD has heard your grumbling that you grumble against him—what are we? Your grumbling is not against us but against the LORD.”

8โมเสสกล่าวว่า “ในเวลาเย็นพระเจ้าจะประทานเนื้อให้ท่านรับประทาน   และในเวลาเช้าพวกท่านจะมีอาหารรับประทานจนอิ่ม   เพราะพระเจ้าทรงทราบคำบ่นของท่านต่อพระองค์   เราทั้งสองนี้เป็นผู้ใดเล่า   พวกท่านมิได้บ่นต่อว่าเรา   แต่ได้บ่นต่อว่าพระเจ้า”  

9Then Moses said to Aaron, “Say to the whole congregation of the people of Israel, ‘Come near before the LORD, for he has heard your grumbling.’”

9โมเสสจึงกล่าวแก่อาโรนว่า “จงบอกชุมนุมชนชาติอิสราเอลทั้งปวงว่า   'เข้ามาใกล้พระเจ้า   เพราะพระองค์ทรงสดับคำบ่นของท่านแล้ว' ”  

10And as soon as Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of the people of Israel, they looked toward the wilderness, and behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud.

10ขณะที่อาโรนกล่าวแก่ชุมนุมชนอิสราเอลอยู่นั้น   เขาทั้งหลายมองไปทางถิ่นทุรกันดาร   ก็เห็นพระสิริของพระเจ้าปรากฏอยู่ในเมฆ

11And the LORD said to Moses,

11พระเจ้าตรัสกับโมเสสว่า

12“I have heard the grumbling of the people of Israel. Say to them, ‘At twilight you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread. Then you shall know that I am the LORD your God.’”

12“เราได้ยินคำบ่นของชนชาติอิสราเอลแล้ว   จงกล่าวแก่เขาว่า   'ในเวลาโพล้เพล้   พวกเจ้าจะได้กินเนื้อ   ทั้งในเวลาเช้า   เจ้าจะได้อาหารกินจนอิ่ม   แล้วเจ้าจะรู้ว่า   เราคือพระเจ้าของพวกเจ้า' ”  

13In the evening quail came up and covered the camp, and in the morning dew lay around the camp.

13ครั้นถึงเวลาเย็นฝูงนกคุ่มบินมาเต็มค่าย   ในเวลาเช้าก็มีน้ำค้างตกรอบค่ายที่พัก

14And when the dew had gone up, there was on the face of the wilderness a fine, flake-like thing, fine as frost on the ground.

14เมื่อน้ำค้างระเหยไปแล้ว   ก็เห็นสิ่งหนึ่งเหมือนเกล็ดเล็กๆ   เท่าเม็ดน้ำค้างแข็งอยู่ที่พื้นดินในถิ่นทุรกันดารนั้น

15When the people of Israel saw it, they said to one another, “What is it?” For they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, “It is the bread that the LORD has given you to eat.

15เมื่อชนชาติอิสราเอลเห็นจึงพูดกันว่า   “นี่อะไรหนอ”  เพราะเขาไม่ทราบว่าเป็นสิ่งใด   โมเสสจึงบอกเขาว่า   “นี่แหละเป็นอาหารที่พระเจ้าประทานให้พวก ท่านรับประทาน

16This is what the LORD has commanded: ‘Gather of it, each one of you, as much as he can eat. You shall each take an omer, according to the number of the persons that each of you has in his tent.’”

16นี่เป็นสิ่งที่พระเจ้าทรงบัญชาไว้ว่า   'ให้ทุกคนเก็บเท่าที่พอรับประทานอิ่ม   ให้เก็บคนละโอเมอร์ตามจำนวนคนมากน้อย   ซึ่งพักอยู่ในเต็นท์ของตน' ”

17And the people of Israel did so. They gathered, some more, some less.

17ชนชาติอิสราเอลก็กระทำตาม   บางคนเก็บมาก บางคนเก็บน้อย

18But when they measured it with an omer, whoever gathered much had nothing left over, and whoever gathered little had no lack. Each of them gathered as much as he could eat.

18แต่เมื่อเขาใช้โอเมอร์ตวง คนที่เก็บได้มากก็ไม่มีเหลือ   และคนที่เก็บได้น้อยก็หาขาดไม่   ทุกคนเก็บได้เท่าที่คนหนึ่งรับประทานพอดี

19And Moses said to them, “Let no one leave any of it over till the morning.”

19โมเสสจึงสั่งว่า “อย่าให้ผู้ใดเก็บเหลือไว้จนรุ่งเช้า”

20But they did not listen to Moses. Some left part of it till the morning, and it bred worms and stank. And Moses was angry with them.

20แต่เขามิได้เชื่อฟังโมเสส   บางคนเก็บส่วนหนึ่งไว้จนรุ่งเช้า   อาหารนั้นก็เน่าเป็นหนอน   และบูดเหม็น โมเสสจึงโกรธคนเหล่านั้น

21Morning by morning they gathered it, each as much as he could eat; but when the sun grew hot, it melted.

21เขาเก็บกันทุกๆเช้าเท่าที่คนหนึ่งรับประทานพอดี   แต่พอแดดออกร้อนจัดแล้วอาหารนั้นก็ละลายไป  

22On the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers each. And when all the leaders of the congregation came and told Moses,

22อยู่มาเมื่อถึงวันที่หก เขาเก็บอาหารสองเท่า   คือคนละสองโอเมอร์   บรรดาหัวหน้าของชุมนุมชนจึงมารายงานต่อโมเสส

23he said to them, “This is what the LORD has commanded: ‘Tomorrow is a day of solemn rest, a holy Sabbath to the LORD; bake what you will bake and boil what you will boil, and all that is left over lay aside to be kept till the morning.’”

23โมเสสบอกเขาว่า “พระเจ้าทรงพระบัญชาว่า 'พรุ่งนี้เป็นวันหยุดงาน   เป็นสะบาโต   วันบริสุทธิ์ของพระเจ้า   จะปิ้งอะไรก็ให้ปิ้ง   จะต้มอะไรก็ให้ต้มเสีย   และส่วนที่เหลือทั้งหมดจงเก็บไว้จนถึงวันรุ่งขึ้น' ”  

24So they laid it aside till the morning, as Moses commanded them, and it did not stink, and there were no worms in it.

24เมื่อเขาเก็บไว้จนถึงวันรุ่งขึ้น   ตามโมเสสสั่ง อาหารนั้นก็มิได้บูดเหม็นเป็นหนอนเลย

25Moses said, “Eat it today, for today is a Sabbath to the LORD; today you will not find it in the field.

25โมเสสจึงบอกว่า   “วันนี้จงกินอาหารนั้น   เพราะว่าวันนี้เป็นวันสะบาโตของพระเจ้า   วันนี้ท่านจะไม่พบอาหารอย่างนั้นในทุ่งเลย

26Six days you shall gather it, but on the seventh day, which is a Sabbath, there will be none.”

26จงเก็บหกวัน   แต่ในวันที่เจ็ดซึ่งเป็นสะบาโตจะไม่มีเลย”

27On the seventh day some of the people went out to gather, but they found none.

27อยู่มาเมื่อวันที่เจ็ด มีบางคนออกไปเก็บ แต่ไม่ได้พบ  

28And the LORD said to Moses, “How long will you refuse to keep my commandments and my laws?

28พระเจ้าตรัสกับโมเสสว่า “พวกเจ้าจะขัดขืนบัญญัติและกฎหมายของเรานานสักเท่าไร

29See! The LORD has given you the Sabbath; therefore on the sixth day he gives you bread for two days. Remain each of you in his place; let no one go out of his place on the seventh day.”

29ดูซิ   พระเจ้าทรงกำหนดวันสะบาโตให้เจ้าคือในวันที่หก พระองค์จึงประทานอาหารให้พอรับประทานสองวัน   ให้ทุกคนพักอยู่ในที่ของตน   อย่าให้ผู้ใดออกจากที่พักในวันที่เจ็ดนั้นเลย”

30So the people rested on the seventh day.

30เหตุฉะนั้นประชาชนทั้งปวงจึงได้พักงานในวันที่เจ็ด  

31Now the house of Israel called its name manna. It was like coriander seed, white, and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.

31เหล่าวงศ์วานของอิสราเอล   เรียกชื่ออาหารนั้นว่ามานาเป็นเม็ดขาวเหมือนเมล็ดผักชี   มีรสเหมือนขนมแผ่นประสมน้ำผึ้ง

32Moses said, “This is what the LORD has commanded: ‘Let an omer of it be kept throughout your generations, so that they may see the bread with which I fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you out of the land of Egypt.’”

32โมเสสกล่าวว่า “พระเจ้ามีรับสั่งว่า 'จงตวงมานาโอเมอร์หนึ่ง   เก็บไว้ตลอดชั่วชาติพันธุ์ของเจ้า   เพื่อเขาทั้งหลายจะได้เห็นอาหาร ซึ่งเราเลี้ยงเจ้าในถิ่นทุรกันดารนี้   เมื่อเรานำพวกเจ้าออกจากแผ่นดินอียิปต์'”

33And Moses said to Aaron, “Take a jar, and put an omer of manna in it, and place it before the LORD to be kept throughout your generations.”

33โมเสสบอกอาโรนว่า “เอาไหลูกหนึ่ง ตวงมานาให้เต็มโอเมอร์หนึ่ง   เก็บไว้ต่อพระพักตร์พระเจ้าชั่วชาติพันธุ์ของท่าน”

34As the LORD commanded Moses, so Aaron placed it before the testimony to be kept.

34อาโรนก็วางมานานั้นลงหน้าหีบพระโอวาท   เพื่อรักษาไว้ตามพระดำรัสที่พระเจ้าทรงบัญชาแก่โมเสส

35The people of Israel ate the manna forty years, till they came to a habitable land. They ate the manna till they came to the border of the land of Canaan.

35ชนชาติอิสราเอลได้กินมานาสี่สิบปีจนเขามาถึง เมืองที่จะอาศัยอยู่   พวกเขากินมานาจนมาถึงชายแดนแคว้นคานาอัน

36(An omer is the tenth part of an ephah.)

36(หนึ่งโอเมอร์เท่ากับหนึ่งในสิบของเอฟาห์)(

God again has provided for the people of Israel. 

อีกครั้งที่พระเจ้าทรงจัดเตรียมไว้ให้คนอิสราเอล

He sent them quail so they would have meat to eat and each day He gave them bread, in the form of this special manna to eat. 

พระองค์ทรงส่งนกกระทามา  เพื่อว่าพวกเขาจะมีเนื้อสัตว์กิน   และทุกวันพระองค์ทรงประทานให้พวกเขามีอาหารกินในรูปแบบของมานาเป็นพิเศษนี้

But He also tested them.  He gave them a law that they would rest one day, on the Sabbath day, Saturday, which would start Friday at 6:00 p.m. and finish Saturday at 6:00 p.m.  

แต่พระองค์ก็ยังทรงทดสอบพวกเขา    ทรงประทานบทบัญญัติแก่พวกเขา  เพื่อว่าพวกเขาจะได้มีวันหนึ่งเพื่อหยุดพัก ในวันสะบาโต   วันเสาร์   ซึ่งจะเริ่มเย็นวันศุกร์เวลา 18:00 น และสิ้นสุดเช้าวันเสาร์เวลา 18:00 น.

God said on that day there would be no manna, but on Friday there would be twice as much and that wouldn’t spoil. 

พระเจ้าตรัสว่าในวันนั้นจะไม่มีมานา   แต่ในวันศุกร์จะทรงประทานให้มากเป็นสองเท่าและมันจะไม่บูดเสีย

Some people didn’t believe God they went out on Saturday to collect manna but there was none. 

บางคนไม่เชื่อพระเจ้า    พวกเขาเดินออกไปเก็บในวันเสาร์เพื่อที่จะเก็บมานา  แต่ไม่มีมานาเลย

Others on other days were greedy and taking more than they needed trying to save for another day and when they did that it spoiled and had worms.  

คนอื่น ๆ ในวันอื่น ๆ ก็โลภมาก   และเก็บไว้มากเกินจำเป็นที่พวกเขาต้องการ   พยายามที่จะเก็บไว้สำหรับวันอื่น    และเมื่อพวกเขาทำเช่นนั้น  มันก็บูดเสียและมีหนอนขึ้น

I like the way Thai people eat together.

Each person has a plate of rice but then only takes a spoon or two of the main course, the topping. 

แต่ละคนมีจานข้าวคนละใบ  แต่แล้วตักกับข้าวเพียงช้อนหรือสองช้อนวางโปะบนข้าวนั้น

We continue to eat and share together making sure each person has enough.

เรากินต่อไปและแบ่งปันกันกิน  เพื่อแน่ใจว่าแต่ละคนมีกินเพียงพอ

In the western style you completely fill your plate once or twice, and it possible that there is not enough for everyone. 

ในแบบตะวันตก   คุณกินอาหารจานหรือสองจานของคุณเองจนเสร็จ   และมันเป็นไปได้ว่าไม่มีพอให้ทุกคน

What are some things we can learn from this passage of Scripture? 

อะไรคือบางสิ่งบางอย่างที่เราสามารถเรียนรู้จากเนื้อเรื่องคัมภีร์ตอนนี้

We learn that God does not like complaining. 

เราเรียนรู้ว่าพระเจ้าทรงไม่ชอบให้เราบ่น

We really need to be careful about what is coming out of our mouths. 

จริงๆ เราจะต้องระมัดระวังเกี่ยวกับสิ่งที่กำลังจะออกมาจากปากของเรา

People often speak against other people, even their family members and the one they love and they speak against God. 

คนเรามักจะพูดไม่ดีเรื่องคนอื่น ๆ   แม้สมาชิกในครอบครัวของพวกเขา    และคนที่พวกเขารัก  และพวกเขาพูดคัดค้านพระเจ้า

Never satisfied, never happy, complain, complain, and complain.  

ไม่เคยพึงพอใจ   ไม่เคยมีความสุข   บ่น  บ่น  และบ่นอยู่นั่นแหละ

There is a saying in English, “if you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say anything.”   

มีคำพูดเป็นภาษาอังกฤษว่า "ถ้าคุณไม่ได้มีอะไรดีที่จะพูด  ก็จงอย่าพูดอะไรเลย".

We learn not to be a glutton or greedy.  

เราเรียนรู้ที่จะไม่เป็นคนตะกละหรือคนโลภ

Luke ลูกา 12:15 And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”

แล้วพระองค์จึงตรัสแก่เขาทั้งหลายว่า   “จงระวังและเว้นเสียจากการโลภทุกประการ   เพราะว่าชีวิตของคนมิได้อยู่ในการที่มีของฟุ่มเฟือย”

Don’t’ worry about storing up treasures here on earth. 

อย่ากังวลเกี่ยวกับการเก็บสะสมทรัพย์สมบัติในโลกใบนี้

Matthew มัทธิว 6:19-21 19“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal,

19 “อย่าส่ำสมทรัพย์สมบัติไว้สำหรับตัวในโลก   ที่อาจเป็นสนิมและที่แมลงกินเสียได้   และที่ขโมยอาจขุดช่องลักเอาไปได้

20but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.

20แต่จงส่ำสมทรัพย์สมบัติไว้ในสวรรค์   ที่ไม่มีแมลงจะกินและไม่มีสนิมจะกัด   และที่ไม่มีขโมยขุดช่องลักเอาไปได้

21For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

21เพราะว่าทรัพย์สมบัติของท่านอยู่ที่ไหน   ใจของท่านก็อยู่ที่นั่นด้วย

God has promised that He will take care of us.   So, don’t worry, don’t be anxious.

พระเจ้าได้ทรงสัญญาว่าจะทรงดูแลเรา ดังนั้น จงอย่ากังวล  จงอย่ากระวนกระวาย

Matthew มัทธิว 6:25-32 25“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?

25“เหตุฉะนั้น   เราบอกท่านทั้งหลายว่า  อย่ากระวนกระวายถึงชีวิตของตนว่า  จะเอาอะไรกิน   หรือจะเอาอะไรดื่ม   และอย่ากระวนกระวายถึงร่างกายของตนว่า  จะเอาอะไรนุ่งห่ม   ชีวิตสำคัญยิ่งกว่าอาหารมิใช่หรือ   และร่างกายสำคัญยิ่งกว่าเครื่องนุ่งห่มมิใช่หรือ

26Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

26จงดูนกในอากาศ   มันมิได้หว่าน   มิได้เกี่ยว   มิได้ส่ำสมไว้ในยุ้งฉาง   แต่พระบิดาของท่านทั้งหลาย   ผู้ทรงสถิตในสวรรค์ทรงเลี้ยงนกไว้   ท่านทั้งหลายมิประเสริฐกว่านกหรือ

27And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? 

27มีใครในพวกท่านโดยความกระวนกระวาย   อาจต่อชีวิตให้ยาวออกไปอีกสักศอกหนึ่งได้หรือ

28And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin,

28ท่านกระวนกระวายถึงเครื่องนุ่งห่มทำไม   จงพิจารณาดอกไม้ที่ทุ่งนาว่า   มันงอกงามเจริญขึ้นได้อย่างไร   มันไม่ทำงาน   มันไม่ปั่นด้าย

29yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

29แต่เราบอกท่านทั้งหลายว่ากษัตริย์โซโลมอนเมื่อบริบูรณ์ด้วยสง่าราศี   ก็มิได้ทรงเครื่องงามเท่าดอกไม้นี้ดอกหนึ่ง

30But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

30แม้ว่าพระเจ้าทรงตกแต่งหญ้าที่ทุ่งนาอย่างนั้น   ซึ่งเป็นอยู่วันนี้และรุ่งขึ้นต้องทิ้งในเตาไฟ  โอ  ผู้มีความเชื่อน้อย   พระองค์จะไม่ทรงตกแต่งท่านมากยิ่งกว่านั้นหรือ

31Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’

31เหตุฉะนั้นอย่ากระวนกระวายว่า   จะเอาอะไรกิน   หรือจะเอาอะไรดื่ม   หรือจะเอาอะไรนุ่งห่ม

32For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.

32เพราะว่าพวกต่างชาติแสวงหาสิ่งของทั้งปวงนี้   แต่ว่าพระบิดาของท่านผู้ทรงสถิตในสวรรค์ทรงทราบแล้วว่า   ท่านต้องการสิ่งทั้งปวงเหล่านี้

The manna also reminds of Jesus, who is the Bread of Life.  Jesus fed more than five thousand with five small loaves of bread and two fish, and then later told the people that He is the Bread of Life. 

มานายังทำให้นึกถึงพระเยซู   ผู้ทรงเป็นอาหารแห่งชีวิต พระเยซูทรงเลี้ยงคนมากกว่าห้าพันคนด้วยขนมปังห้าก้อนเล็ก ๆ และปลาสองตัว   และต่อมาพระองค์ตรัสกับประชาชนว่าทรงเป็นอาหารแห่งชีวิต

John ยอห์น 6:26-38 26Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you are seeking me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves.

26พระเยซูตรัสกับเขาว่า “เราบอกความจริงแก่ท่านทั้งหลายว่า   ท่านทั้งหลายตามหาเรามิใช่เพราะได้เห็นหมายสำคัญ   แต่เพราะได้กินขนมปังอิ่ม

27Do not labor for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal.”

27อย่าขวนขวายหาอาหารที่เสื่อมสิ้นไป   แต่จงหาอาหารที่ดำรงอยู่คืออาหารแห่งชีวิตนิรันดร์   ซึ่งบุตรมนุษย์จะให้แก่ท่าน   เพราะพระเจ้าคือพระบิดาได้ทรงประทับตรามอบอำนาจแก่พระบุตรแล้ว”

28Then they said to him, “What must we do, to be doing the works of God?”

28แล้วเขาทั้งหลายก็ทูลพระองค์ว่า   “ข้าพเจ้าทั้งหลายจะต้องทำประการใด   จึงจะทำงานของพระเจ้าได้”

29Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”

29พระเยซูตรัสตอบเขาว่า   “งานของพระเจ้านั้น   คือการที่ท่านวางใจในท่านที่พระองค์ทรงใช้มา”

30So they said to him, “Then what sign do you do, that we may see and believe you? What work do you perform?

30เขาทั้งหลายจึงทูลพระองค์ว่า   “ถ้าเช่นนั้นท่านจะกระทำหมายสำคัญอะไร   เพื่อข้าพเจ้าทั้งหลายจะเห็นและวางใจในท่าน   ท่านจะกระทำอะไรบ้าง

31Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’”

31บรรพบุรุษของข้าพเจ้าทั้งหลายได้กินมานาในถิ่นทุรกันดาร   ตามที่มีคำเขียนไว้ว่า    'ท่านได้ให้เขากินอาหารจากสวรรค์' ”

32Jesus then said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven.

32พระเยซูก็ตรัสกับเขาว่า   “เราบอกความจริงแก่ท่านทั้งหลายว่า   มิใช่โมเสสที่ให้อาหารจากสวรรค์นั้นแก่ท่าน   แต่พระบิดาของเราประทานอาหารแท้ซึ่งมาจากสวรรค์   ให้แก่ท่านทั้งหลาย

33For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

33เพราะว่าอาหารของพระเจ้านั้น   คือท่านที่ลงมาจากสวรรค์   และประทานชีวิตให้แก่โลก”

34They said to him, “Sir, give us this bread always.”

34เขาทั้งหลายจึงทูลพระองค์ว่า   “ท่านเจ้าข้า   โปรดให้อาหารนั้นแก่ข้าพเจ้าทั้งหลายเสมอไปเถิด”  

35Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.

35พระเยซูตรัสกับเขาว่า   “เราเป็นอาหารแห่งชีวิต   ผู้ที่มาหาเราจะไม่หิว   และผู้ที่วางใจในเรา   จะไม่กระหายอีกเลย

36But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe.

36แต่เราได้บอกท่านทั้งหลายแล้วว่า   ท่านได้เห็นเราแล้วแต่ก็ไม่เชื่อ

37All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.

37สารพัดที่พระบิดาทรงประทานแก่เรา   จะมาสู่เรา   และผู้ที่มาหาเรา   เราก็จะไม่ทิ้งเขาเลย

38For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me.

38เพราะว่าเราได้ลงมาจากสวรรค์   มิใช่เพื่อกระทำตามความประสงค์ของเราเอง   แต่เพื่อกระทำตามพระประสงค์ของพระองค์ผู้ทรงใช้เรามา
