อพยพบทที่ 13

Remember what God has done and give Him first place

โปรดจำสิ่งที่พระเจ้าได้ทรงกระทำและจงยกพระองค์เป็นที่หนึ่ง

Finally, the Pharaoh has let the people of Israel leave Egypt after the death of the first-born sons who did not have the blood on the doorposts of their home. 

           ในที่สุดฟาโรห์ได้ทรงปล่อยให้คนอิสราเอลออกจากอียิปต์   หลังจากการตายของบุตรชายแรกหัวปี   ที่บ้านของพวกเขาไม่ได้มีเลือดทาบนเสาประตู

Now as we begin chapter 13 God instructs Moses to set apart the first born of both people and animals as the Lord’s. 

ตอนนี้เราจะเริ่มต้นบทที่ 13 พระเจ้าทรงรับสั่งให้โมเสสแยกบุตรหัวปีทั้งของคนและของสัตว์ให้เป็นของพระเจ้า

God always wants the first. 

พระเจ้าทรงต้องการเป็นที่หนึ่งเสมอ

In giving our tithes and offerings to the Lord, we don’t give our leftovers and say, “if I have anything left at the end of the month, I will give part of it to God”. 

ในการถวายสิบลดและของถวายแด่พระเจ้า    เราไม่ถวายของที่เหลือของเราและพูดว่า "ถ้าฉันมีสิ่งใดเหลือในตอนสิ้นเดือน   ฉันจะให้ถวายส่วนหนึ่งของมันแด่พระเจ้า"

No, we should, when we first receive the income, before we do anything else give God the first 10 percent.  

ใช่  เราไม่ควรทำ   ครั้งแรกเมื่อเราได้รับเงินรายได้     จงถวายแด่พระเจ้าแรกร้อยละ10 ก่อนที่เราจะทำสิ่งอื่นใด  

God claims our best, our very best; God claims the first in everything.

พระเจ้าทรงเรียกร้องสิ่งที่ดีที่สุดของเรา  สิ่งดียอดเยี่ยมที่สุด พระเจ้าทรงเรียกร้องสิ่งแรกในทุกสิ่งทุกอย่าง

Even though He wants first place in our lives, many believers put Him last, and that creates a problem.

แม้ว่าพระองค์ทรงต้องการเป็นที่หนึ่งในชีวิตของเรา    ผู้เชื่อหลายๆ คนยกพระ

องค์ไว้ลำดับสุดท้าย  และสิ่งนั้นแหละที่จะสร้างปัญหา

If we have time, we work for the Lord, but most of our time is spent on personal interests

ถ้าเรามีเวลา    เราทำงานถวายแด่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า แต่เวลาส่วนใหญ่ของเรามักใช้เพื่อผลประโยชน์ส่วนตัวเราเอง

We should be giving the first of our time to God. 

เราควรจะถวายเวลาแรกเริ่มแด่พระเจ้าก่อน

Now, for the people who had the blood on their door posts, God had spared their first born. 

ตอนนี้     เพราะว่าประชาชนมีเลือดบนเสาประตูบ้านของพวกเขา, พระเจ้าทรงสงวนชีวิตบุตรหัวปีของพวกเขาไว้

So, God is saying, "All right now set aside all the firstborn, they're Mine."

ดังนั้น พระเจ้าทรงตรัสว่า " ตอนนี้ จงแยกบุตรหัวปีทั้งหมดไว้ต่างหาก พวกเขาเป็นของเรา"

And we will see the law of the redemption of the firstborn. 

และเราจะเห็นบัญญัติแห่งการทรงไถ่ของบุตรหัวปี

God wants people to remember Him and to remember what He has done. 

พระเจ้าทรงต้องการให้คนจดจำพระองค์  และจดจำสิ่งที่พระองค์ได้ทรงกระทำ

As the first born were set apart, the people would remember God spared them and delivered them out of Egypt. 

ในฐานะบุตรหัวปีถูกตั้งแยกไว้ต่างหาก   คนจะจำได้ว่าพระเจ้าได้ทรงสงวนชีวิตพวกเขาและทรงปลดปล่อยพวกเขาออกจากอียิปต์

Then God also instructed them about eating unleavened bread as an annual holiday to remember the power of God in delivering them from Egypt, and the new land that He will bring them into. 

จากนั้นพระเจ้าทรงสั่งสอนพวกเขาเกี่ยวกับการกินขนมปังไร้เชื้อ  ถือเป็นวันหยุดประจำปีที่จดจำฤทธิ์อำนาจของพระเจ้า  ที่ทรงปลดปล่อยพวกเขาจากอียิปต์  และดินแดนใหม่ที่จะทรงนำพวกเขาไป

This will also cause the children to ask questions and the parents will be able to explain to their children what God has done.

นอกจากนี้สิ่งนี้ยังทำให้เด็กๆ ตั้งคำถาม     และผู้ปกครองจะสามารถอธิบายให้เด็กๆ ของพวกเขาทราบสิ่งที่พระเจ้าได้ทรงกระทำ

Set apart the firstborn for God verses 1-16

จงแยกบุตรหัวปีไว้เพื่อถวายแด่พระเจ้า ข้อ 1-16

1The LORD said to Moses,

1พระเจ้าตรัสกับโมเสสว่า

2“Consecrate to me all the firstborn. Whatever is the first to open the womb among the people of Israel, both of man and of beast, is mine.”

2“จงถวายลูกหัวปีทั้งปวงแก่เรา   คือทุกสิ่งของชนชาติอิสราเอลที่ออกจากครรภ์ครั้งแรก   จะเป็นมนุษย์หรือสัตว์สิ่งนั้นเป็นของของเรา”

3Then Moses said to the people, “Remember this day in which you came out from Egypt, out of the house of slavery, for by a strong hand the LORD brought you out from this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten.

3โมเสสจึงกล่าวแก่ประชาชนว่า “จงระลึกถึงวันนี้ที่ท่านทั้งหลายออกมาจากอียิปต์   จากแดนทาส   เพราะพระเจ้าทรงนำท่านทั้งหลายออกจากที่นั่นด้วยฤทธิ์   พระหัตถ์   อย่ากินขนมปังที่มีเชื้อเลย

4Today, in the month of Abib, you are going out.

4ท่านทั้งหลายยกออกไปในวันนี้ในเดือนอาบีบ

5And when the LORD brings you into the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, you shall keep this service in this month.

5ครั้นพระเจ้าทรงนำพวกท่านมาถึงแผ่นดินของคนคานาอัน   คนฮิตไทต์  คนอาโมไรต์  คนฮีไวต์  และคนเยบุส  ที่พระองค์ทรงปฏิญาณไว้กับบรรพบุรุษว่า  จะยกแผ่นดินนี้ให้พวกท่าน     เป็นแผ่นดินที่มีน้ำนมและน้ำผึ้งไหลบริบูรณ์  ท่านทั้งหลายจงถือพิธีนี้ในเดือนนั้น

6Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day there shall be a feast to the LORD.

6จงกินขนมปังไร้เชื้อเป็นเวลาเจ็ดวัน   และวันที่เจ็ดจงมีสมโภชถวายพระเจ้า

7Unleavened bread shall be eaten for seven days; no leavened bread shall be seen with you, and no leaven shall be seen with you in all your territory.

7จงกินขนมปังไร้เชื้อให้ครบกำหนดเจ็ดวัน อย่าให้เห็นขนมปังซึ่งมีเชื้อ   หรือให้เห็นเชื้อขนมปังในเขตของพวกท่าน

8You shall tell your son on that day, ‘It is because of what the LORD did for me when I came out of Egypt.’

8ในวันนั้นจงบอกบุตรของท่านว่า   'ที่ได้ทำดังนี้ก็เพราะเหตุการณ์ ซึ่งพระเจ้าได้ทรงกระทำสำหรับข้า   ขณะเมื่อข้าออกจากอียิปต์'

9And it shall be to you as a sign on your hand and as a memorial between your eyes, that the law of the LORD may be in your mouth. For with a strong hand the LORD has brought you out of Egypt.

9สำหรับท่านพิธีนี้จะเป็นดังรอยสำคัญที่มือของท่าน   และดังเครื่องระลึกระหว่างนัยน์ตาของท่าน   เพื่อพระธรรมของพระเจ้าจะได้อยู่ในปากของท่าน   เพราะพระเจ้าได้ทรงนำพวกท่านออกมาจากอียิปต์ ด้วยพระหัตถ์อันทรงฤทธิ์

10You shall therefore keep this statute at its appointed time from year to year.

10เพราะฉะนั้น   พวกท่านจงปฏิบัติตามกฎพิธีนี้ตามกำหนดทุกๆปีไป

11“When the LORD brings you into the land of the Canaanites, as he swore to you and your fathers, and shall give it to you,

11“เมื่อพระเจ้าทรงนำท่านไปยังแผ่นดินของคน คานาอันดังที่พระองค์ได้ทรงปฏิญาณไว้กับท่าน   และบรรพบุรุษของท่านว่า จะทรงยกแผ่นดินนั้นให้แก่ท่าน

12you shall set apart to the LORD all that first opens the womb. All the firstborn of your animals that are males shall be the LORD's.

12ทุกอย่างที่เบิกครรภ์ครั้งแรกนั้น   ท่านจงแยกถวายแด่พระเจ้าและลูกสัตว์หัวปี ตัวผู้ที่เกิดจากสัตว์ใช้งานของท่าน   ก็เป็นของพระเจ้า

13Every firstborn of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb, or if you will not redeem it you shall break its neck. Every firstborn of man among your sons you shall redeem.

13จงเอาลูกแกะไถ่ลูกลาหัวปี   ถ้าไม่ไถ่จงหักคอมันเสีย   จงไถ่บุตรชายหัวปีทั้ง

หลายของมนุษย์ไว้ทั้งหมด

14And when in time to come your son asks you, ‘What does this mean?’ you shall say to him, ‘By a strong hand the LORD brought us out of Egypt, from the house of slavery.

14ต่อไปภายหน้า เมื่อบุตรของท่านจะถามว่า   'ทำไมจึงทำอย่างนี้'  จงเล่าให้เขาฟังว่า   'พระเจ้าทรงนำพวกเราออกจากอียิปต์  จากแดนทาสด้วยฤทธิ์พระหัตถ์

15For when Pharaoh stubbornly refused to let us go, the LORD killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man and the firstborn of animals. Therefore I sacrifice to the LORD all the males that first open the womb, but all the firstborn of my sons I redeem.’

15ครั้นพระทัยของฟาโรห์ดื้อไม่ยอมปล่อยให้พวกเราไป   พระเจ้าจึงทรงประหารลูกหัวปีทั้งหลายในประเทศอียิปต์   ทั้งของมนุษย์และของสัตว์ด้วย   เหตุฉะนี้   ข้าจึงถวายบรรดาสัตว์หัวปีตัวผู้แด่พระเจ้า แต่บุตรชายหัวปีทั้งหลายของข้า ข้าก็ไถ่ไว้'

16It shall be as a mark on your hand or frontlets between your eyes, for by a strong hand the LORD brought us out of Egypt.”

16พิธีนี้จะเป็นดังรอยสำคัญที่มือของท่าน   และดังเครื่องหมายระหว่างนัยน์ตาของท่าน เพราะพระเจ้าได้ทรงนำพวกเราออกจากอียิปต์ด้วยฤทธิ์พระหัตถ์”

So the firstborn son, whether it be the firstborn son or the firstborn animal, that was a male that had to be redeemed (bought back from God.)

ดังนั้นบุตรชายหัวปี  ไม่ว่าจะเป็นบุตรชายหัวปี  หรือสัตว์หัวปีที่เป็นตัวผู้ จะต้องถูกไถ่ไว้ (ถูกซื้อกลับคืนจากพระเจ้า)

The first donkey that was born was the Lord's.

ลาตัวแรกที่เกิดใหม่ก็เป็นของพระเจ้า

Now if you wanted to keep the donkey and use it, then you had to buy it from the Lord.

ตอนนี้ถ้าคุณอยากเลี้ยงลาไว้และใช้มัน    งั้นคุณต้องซื้อมันคืนจากพระเจ้า

If you wanted to keep it for yourself, then you had to purchase it from God.

หากคุณต้องการที่จะเก็บมันเพื่อตัวคุณเอง  แล้วคุณต้องซื้อมันจากพระเจ้า

You had to redeem it. If you didn't redeem it, then you had to kill it, the donkey, or the cow or whatever animal. 

คุณต้องไถ่มัน  หากคุณไม่ได้ไถ่มันแล้วคุณต้องฆ่ามัน   ลาหรือวัวหรือสัตว์อะไรก็ตาม

It became a sacrifice to the Lord. 

มันก็กลายเป็นเครื่องถวายบูชาแด่พระเจ้า

So, the firstborn became a sacrifice unto God.

ดังนั้น  บุตรหัวปีกลายเป็นเครื่องถวายบูชาแด่พระเจ้า

But you couldn't sacrifice a donkey; so you could keep the donkey and sacrifice the lamb.

แต่คุณไม่สามารถถวายลาเป็นเครื่องบูชา  ; ดังนั้นคุณสามารถเก็บลาไว้และถวายลูกแกะเป็นเครื่องบูชา

We too have been bought by the blood of the Lamb. 

เราก็เช่นกัน   ได้ถูกซื้อไว้โดยพระโลหิตของพระเมษโปดก

I Peter 1 เปโตร 1:18-19 18knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold,

18ท่านรู้ว่าพระองค์ได้ทรงไถ่ท่านทั้งหลายออกจากการประพฤติอันหาสาระมิได้   ซึ่งท่านได้รับต่อจากบรรพบุรุษของท่าน   มิใช่ไถ่ไว้ด้วยสิ่งที่เสื่อมสลายได้   เช่นเงินและทอง

19but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.

19แต่ทรงไถ่ด้วยพระโลหิตประเสริฐของพระคริสต์   ดังเลือดลูกแกะที่ปราศจากตำหนิหรือจุดด่าง

So, the firstborn became a sacrifice unto the Lord.

ดังนั้น  บุตรหัวปีกลายเป็นเครื่องถวายบูชาแด่พระเจ้า

The same with your child, the firstborn male child was God's, belonged to God.

เช่นเดียวกับบุตรของคุณ  บุตรชายหัวปีเป็นของพระเจ้า   เป็นสมบัติของพระเจ้า

Then you had to redeem that child from God, offering sacrifice unto the Lord to redeem the child.

แล้วคุณต้องไถ่บุตรนั้นจากพระเจ้า  ถวายเครื่องบูชาแด่พระเจ้าเพื่อที่จะไถ่บุตรนั้น

When the children would see this they would ask questions.  What is this? 

เมื่อเด็กๆ จะเห็นสิ่งนี้   พวกเขาจะตั้งคำถาม นี่คืออะไร

Why are we doing this? 

เรากำลังทำเช่นนี้ทำไม

Then the parents and other adults could tell them how that the Lord brought them out of Egypt.  

จากนั้นพ่อแม่และผู้ใหญ่คนอื่น ๆ ก็สามารถบอกพวกเขาว่า   พระเจ้าทรงนำพวกเขาออกจากแผ่นดินอียิปต์ได้อย่างไร

This is very important, we as Christians today must teach our children about the Lord.  That is our responsibility. 

นี้เป็นสิ่งสำคัญมาก    เราที่เป็นคริสเตียนทุกวันนี้ต้องสอนเด็กๆ ของเราเกี่ยวกับองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า  นั่นคือความรับผิดชอบของเรา

They will not learn by themselves, we have to live out the Christian life before them, we have to teach them the Bible, we have to answer their questions. 

พวกเขาจะไม่เรียนรู้ด้วยตัวเอง   เราต้องมีชีวิตอยู่สำแดงชีวิตคริสเตียนให้พวกเขาเห็น  เราต้องสอนพระคัมภีร์แก่พวกเขา    เราต้องตอบคำถามของพวกเขา

Notice again in verse 16 there was mention of writing on their hands and before their eyes.

The people of Israel had little boxes with commands of God.

So, they are to bind them to their wrists, and to their forehead.

It's so that the idea on their forehead, that it might be in my mind to do the will of God; on your hand that it might be on the strength of your hand to do service to the Lord.

And so the idea of doing service with my hands, and my mind being upon the law of God, and my hand does the law of God.

Again, the importance of remembering who God is and what He has done.

Now the interesting thing is that by far the closest route to Israel would be right up the coast.

ตอนนี้ สิ่งที่น่าสนใจคือว่า  เห็นได้ชัดว่าเส้นทางที่ใกล้เคียงกับอิสราเอลตรงไปทางชายฝั่ง

It'd be the easiest way to go, right through the land of the Philistines, right on into the land.

มันจะเป็นวิธีที่ง่ายที่สุดที่จะไป   ตรงไปทางแผ่นดินของพวกฟิลิสติน ตรงเข้าไปในแผ่นดิน

They could actually make the journey within a week or so and be in the land.

จริงๆ แล้วพวกเขาสามารถเดินทางภายในสัปดาห์หรือประมาณนั้นและจะอยู่ในแผ่นดิน

But God knew that they were not yet prepared.

That if the Philistines would come out to meet them with war, their faith in God was not yet strong enough.

ถ้าพวกฟิลิสตินออกมาเพื่อสู้รบกับพวกเขา   ความเชื่อในพระเจ้าของพวกเขาก็ยังไม่เข้มแข็งพอ

Fear would grip their hearts; they would seek to return to Egypt.

So, the wilderness experience is necessary in order that they might have the experiences of trusting in God, learning what it is to have faith in God, learning the power of God.

So, that when they did finally come into the land and face the enemies, they would have great confidence and faith in God to deliver the land into their hands.

So, we find the wilderness experiences are experiences where they are learning how that God can meet their needs no matter what they be.

That God is sufficient to take care of their needs, and how that God will answer and will respond to their prayers and to their needs.

Sometimes God has us as Christians go through a wilderness experience, some difficulties and trials, which will prepare us for the work He has for us to do.

It is exciting to read how God led them, with a pillar of cloud by day and fire by night.

They had a visible evidence of God’s presence and leadership.

The Lord led them by pillars of cloud and fire 17-32

17When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them by way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near. For God said, “Lest the people change their minds when they see war and return to Egypt.”

17เมื่อฟาโรห์ปล่อยประชากรไปแล้ว   พระเจ้ามิได้ทรงนำเขาไปทางแผ่นดินของชาวฟีลิสเตีย   แม้ว่าจะเป็นทางใกล้   เพราะพระเจ้าตรัสว่า   “เกรงว่าเมื่อประชากรไปเผชิญสงครามเข้า   เขาจะเปลี่ยนใจและกลับไปยังอียิปต์เสีย”

18But God led the people around by the way of the wilderness toward the Red Sea. And the people of Israel went up out of the land of Egypt equipped for battle.

18พระเจ้าจึงทรงนำเขาอ้อมไปทางถิ่น ทุรกันดารยังทะเลแดง   ชนชาติอิสราเอลก็ออกไปจากแผ่นดินอียิปต์   มีอาวุธพร้อมที่จะทำสงคราม

19Moses took the bones of Joseph with him, for Joseph had made the sons of Israel solemnly swear, saying, “God will surely visit you, and you shall carry up my bones with you from here.”

19โมเสสเอากระดูกของโยเซฟไปด้วย   เพราะโยเซฟให้ชนชาติอิสราเอลสาบานไว้ว่า “พระเจ้าคงจะเสด็จมาเยี่ยมท่านทั้งหลายเป็นแน่   แล้วท่านจงเอากระดูกของเราไปจากที่นี่ ด้วย”  

20And they moved on from Succoth and encamped at Etham, on the edge of the wilderness.

20คนอิสราเอลยกออกจากเมืองสุคคท   ไปตั้งค่ายที่ตำบลเอธามบริเวณชายถิ่นทุรกันดาร

21And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead them along the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night.

21พระเจ้าเสด็จนำทางพวกเขาในเวลากลางวันด้วยเสาเมฆ   และตอนกลางคืนด้วยเสาเพลิง   ให้เขามีแสงสว่างเพื่อจะได้เดินทางได้ทั้งกลางวันและ กลางคืน

22The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night did not depart from before the people.

22เสาเมฆในเวลากลางวันและเสาเพลิงในเวลากลางคืน   มิได้คลาดจากเบื้องหน้าประชากรเลย

They carried the remains of Joseph, the bones of Joseph that they might bury them when they came into the land, when they came out of Egypt. 

พวกเขาแบกศพของโยเซฟ    กระดูกของโยเซฟ ที่พวกเขาฝังมันไว้เมื่อพวกเขามาถึงแผ่นดิน   เมื่อพวกเขาออกมาจากแผ่นดินอียิปต์

Just like Joseph had asked them to do, remember back in in Genesis 50?

In the day time the cloud was in front of them to lead them, following the cloud.

At night time there was the light in the sky to lead them, and they walked in the light of this fire, this flaming fire at night in the sky that was there to direct them.

God could have brought the Israelites through the land of the Philistines by a miracle.

Had they been attacked,
