ACF is a Christian NGO in Phuket, Southern Thailand. They focus on developing Christian sports and educational opportunities for the disadvantaged children in and around Phuket. They do this by managing a pre-school project, Kids Club activities, as well as scholarship program. ACF gets involved in serving the community by developing close relationships with the families of the kids attending their programs, which they call Emergency Outreach. Teams can expect to help at the pre-school with teaching art, music, games, sport or English to the students. You can also accompany kids on day trips to educational institutions. Kids Club meetings are focused on reaching the older kids aged 8 to 15 years, through English teaching, sport activities, arts and crafts and dance and drama teaching on weekends. Your team can also be involved in presenting outreach activities to kids enrolled in the scholarship program which could include holiday or sport programs, English and/ or music teaching.
