Thungplaw Church is located with the Maesaruay district of Chiang Rai province. Thungplaw Church is actually in a village bearing the same name. There are currently 58 families that live in Thungplaw village where there is a mixture of Karen, Lahu and Akha hill tribes. Thungplaw village is quite big as it has a resort, clinic, primary school, middle school and high school. Thus the primary focus of ministry is friendship evangelism. Your team can and will engage in teaching English at local schools, leading a Bible study, holding youth camps, participating in a cell group, open air evangelism and helping with the Sunday service. Your team will have the opportunity to encourage today’s youth to follow God and live a life that is sold out to Him!
