53. Local Thai Church – Pak Chong

In the northeast of Thailand (Isaan Region) lies the town of Pak Chong. Steve and Andrea McGowan pastor a church in Pak Chong which they planted 9 years ago. They have a plethora of ministry available such as opportunities to surrounding villages, local schools and teens. There is are also other avenues of ministry which your team can take part in such as puppet ministry, street ministry, 1-1 evangelism as well as special food programs. Steve and Andrea are currently reaching out to many areas in and around Pak Chong that are hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ for the very first time! They are doing some teaching at small country churches...churches which need encouragement and encouragement which your team can provide! There are also opportunities for working with the local schools teaching English to school kids of all ages! Your team can also plug into the life of the church in Pak Chong through worship, testimonies, dramas, and preaching!

Vision - To focus more on discipleship and evangelizing in the community of Pak Chong. To build up a team that can go out and ministering to hill tribe people through visits and encouragement. To build a youth center for young people in the area and having an English class that teaches not only English but music, aerobics etc.
