Pastor Somjai is the pastor of Khun Han Church, located in the town of Khun Han! Khun Han is located in another one of Thailand’s unreached 4K provinces, with the Cambodian border only 5-10 kilometers away from the church. It is estimated that 70% of the population in the province have never heard about the Good News of Jesus Christ. Khun Han Church currently has around 30 members, of which 80% can speak both Thai and Cambodian...reflecting the diversity of this border town. The ministry is abundant, with such opportunities as prayer walking in and around Khun Han and surrounding villages, performing open air concerts in villages, local markets and at church. Your team will also have the opportunity to visit up to 10 different schools and teach fun and informal English to a wide variety of school kids. There is also an orphanage that you can visit where your team can play with the kids and help them as they learn English. On Sundays your team can preach, lead worship, share testimonies and encourage your fellow brothers and sisters in Khun Han!

One interesting fact – In this area there are few Christians and villagers are not very receptive to Christianity, however there is the vision to spread the word of God to every village (135 villages) and home (20,000) within the next 5 years!
