106. Mercy Home – Chiang Mai Mercy Home is a ministry that provides hill-tribe students from all over Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai an opportunity to study. The purpose and vision of Mercy Home is for each and every young person to grow in their relationship with Christ. Your team is needed, as they would be thrilled to have you come and spend time with them during the week, especially at night as you can worship God together and teach a life lesson from the Word. If your team loves to teach, disciple or just share your life - then Mercy Home may just be the perfect place for your team! Your team can also be involved in other ways with Mercy Home such as teaching simple English (Mercy Home runs a daycare in the day time), play with the children in the daycare, join in with the Sunday service, sing songs, preach, teach Sunday school, share your testimony, make friends – and perhaps impact a life for eternity! Vision - We want to disciple young Christian men and women (those who stay with us) to grow in their Christian life and to be a good example to their non-Christian friends in school. We also want to reach out to kindergarten students with the love of Christ. |
